Job Description

This well known Health organisation is looking for a Business Analyst/ Senior Project coordinator with scheduling expereince and very strong written and verbal communications skills

Key roles and Responsibilities

  • Possess business analysis and project support capabilities
  • Has capabilities and the ability to demonstrate a good understanding of Business Analysis, Software Development and Testing
  • Elicit and document requirements across various projects and/or systems
  • Conduct requirements workshops
  • Create user stories to define and design requirements in complex environments
  • Assist with defining and supporting software testing
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to achieve project and program objectives
  • Support internal change delivery management where required
  • Assist with the development of project artefacts such as project plans, guides and training material, etc.
  • Prepare training materials and conduct end-user training sessions
  • Create, update and manage project schedules
  • Create project reports and presentations as required

Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology systems or strong experience in a relevant business related discipline
  • At least 5 years' experience as a Project Support Analyst and at least 2 years' experience as a Business Analyst
  • Strong, proactive stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers, subject matter experts and end-users
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a number of tasks concurrently, with varying timelines and workloads, in a high volume work environment.
  • Have exceptional listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Be able to work autonomously and remain task focused
  • Sound analytical skills and systematic approach to problem solving;
  • Can work in a cross functional team on different projects;
  • Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret user business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Liaise between IT and the business to map requirements;
  • Have experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment;
  • Experience in the NSW State Government would be an advantage;
