Position in Context:

The Dynamics Functional Lead is the focal point for the management and maintenance of core business systems, based on Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement CRM and PowerApps. The role is will be engaged in identifying, customising, configuring, implementation and support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 systems.

Role Purpose:

The Dynamics Functional Lead will also support enhancements to Dynamics 365 Unified Operations (for Finance and Supply Chain Management/Procurement) system as required, especially in the development of PowerApps, Dataverse and Common Data Model -based systems.

Key Accountability's:

  • Lead the ongoing development and functional management of core Dynamics Customer Engagement system
  • Develop and deploy Microsoft PowerApps as required
  • Support enhancements to Dynamics 365 Unified Operations (for Finance and Supply Chain Management/Procurement) system as required, especially in the development of PowerApps, Dataverse and Common Data Model -based systems.
  • Communicate system design and validate proposed solutions with the business at executive, manager and officer levels alike
  • Develop and maintain system integrations using Microsoft Flow and other systems
  • Maintain change and release management of the solutions
  • Maintain the organisation's central data dictionary, aligning it to releases and versions, and working with the Data and Reporting Analyst to ensure data flows to reporting and data warehousing systems are maintained

Key Selection Criteria:

  • 5+ years in business and systems analysis
  • Demonstrated relational database design and management skills
  • Demonstrated leadership of technical and application development initiatives
  • 3+ years working with Dynamics Customer Engagement (formerly Dynamics CRM)
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft PowerApps highly desirable
  • Experience with requirements elicitation standards, including User Stories and Use Cases
  • A knowledge of user experience principles and practices, including usability testing and user centred design approaches.
  • Experience in ERP (Finance and Procurement) systems analysis and development, especially Microsoft Dynamics Unified Operations (Formerly Dynamics AX, Dynamics for Finance and Operations) highly desirable
  • Experience with Frontier Payrol Systems (HR21, Chris21 and iChris) is highly desirable
