Job Description

Helpdesk Lead | Infrastructure Lead| Western Sydney |Permanent | Western Sydney

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the IT Manager, you will manage a small team of 2 Helpdesk Lvl1/Lvl2. Manage key performance indicators and implement continuous improvements practices
  • Manage both physical and virtualised server environment
  • Manage servers, desktops/laptops, telephony, audio visual systems and mobile devices
  • Manage incident and problem management based on industry best practice
  • Network management which includes voice, data and wireless connections
  • Prioritise and deliver projects in accordance with business needs
  • Maintain vendor relationships and work closely with 3rd party IT supplier

Previous experience and skills required:

  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in an infrastructure management as a Systems and Network Engineer or an Infrastructure Specialist
  • Experience with Active Directory, AD, Backup and Recovery, DNS/DHCP, SQL, LAN/WAN, Firewall, VPN and Identity and access management
  • Must be an all-rounder desktop/laptop, systems, networking and DR experience
  • Previous asset management experience
  • Demonstrated experience ensuring IT services are effectively delivered to a business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
