Job Description

One of our clients based in Canberra is looking for a highly experienced and committed Infrastructure Support Officer. The Infrastructure Support Officer is primarily responsible for the administrative and desktop support of ICT services, as well as a range of project work and to provide daily operational/BAU ICT support within a small government agency in a highly versatile, dynamic and agile environment.

To be successful in the application the candidate should meet the following key areas and criteria:

  1. Proven client service experience in an ICT Service Desk or Desktop Support role with highly effective written and oral communication skills to enable you to communicate with influence with people at all levels;
  2. Knowledge and experience in managing user ICT support requests and problem solving skills to resolve requests to the satisfaction of end users with the ability to support the following technologies: Virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), Windows 7/10, Microsoft Office 2010/16, SCCM, Cisco call manager, video conferencing facilities, mobile device management, desktop PC's, monitors, surface pros and MFDs;
  3. Proven ability to work in a collaborative manner and with initiative as a member of a small multidisciplinary team; and
  4. Demonstrated ability working with ICT government best practice and methodologies and an understanding of the ITIL processes being highly desirable.
