Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Property Consultant to provide specialist property expertise to support the delivery of SAED sites for my Telco client. The role provides specialist property expertise to improve the effective and efficient delivery of SAED sites. This will be a contract opportunity for 12 months, with strong possibly of renewal. In this role, you will be an effective member of the SAED leadership team and support the SAED Managers to meet program milestones.

The role:

  • You will come with experience across the acquisition and upgrade of Greenfield sites.
  • You will be a key resource on connecting core property work and the participation of Project managers in acquiring sites.
  • You will need to come with a strong understanding of where sites are in the SAED process.
  • Suitable candidates would come from the large telco's such as Telstra, Huawei, Vodafone, Nokia, Optus, etc.
  • My client is open to interstate candidates who are willing to relocate.

Key requirements:

  • Extensive telecommunications network property management and governance experience operating at a manager level Demonstrable track record in telecoms network SAED delivery including tenure negotiation
  • Experience in business process improvement
  • Mastery of presentation tools such as Microsoft Office, Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience in managing, tracking SAED site delivery, issues and escalations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and provide high levels of support in complex environments

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide advice, analysis and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders on key property matters and challenging SAED site escalations.
  • Provide the property support to Site Acquisition and Environmental Design (SAED) managers when required to ensure tenure documentation is delivered for the Communications program.
  • Be an effective member of the SAED leadership team
  • Build influential relationships with government agencies and private sector partner organisations on program related matters to ensure they are appropriately briefed, and their concerns are addressed.
  • Negotiate new leases and site access arrangements for the use of land and infrastructure to support the operation of the GRN by ensuring documentation aligns with commercial, operational and strategic parameters and direction
  • Monitor and renew or negotiate lease and licence documentation of existing GRN sites to ensure they too align with commercial, operational and strategic parameters and direction thereby providing suitable continued tenure
  • Build influential relationships with government agencies and private sector partner organisations on program related matters to ensure they are appropriately briefed, and their concerns are addressed.
