Primary purpose of the role
The Recovery at Work Coordinator provides support in maintaining best practice and comprehensive management of non-complex cases. The position is a source of recovery at work advice and case management involving early intervention, workplace assessment, occupational rehabilitation and recovery at work programs. The position maintains effective relationship with key stakeholders and work collaboratively towards achieving optimal recovery at work outcomes. The position works in a team environment, assisting and complementing the work of others in Injury & Claims Management; to facilitate recovery at work process in compliance with NSW legislation
Key accountabilities
Deliver recovery at work services, in accordance with NSW legislation, policies, guidelines of SIRA (State Insurance Regulation Authority) and iCARE including processes and framework.
Maintain a high standard of customer service with internal and external key stakeholders
Provide support to the Recovery at Work Advisors and to the broader stakeholders
Key Skills and Requirements
- Sound knowledge of NSW Workers Compensation Legislation
- Recovery at Work Accreditation
- Experience with NSW legislation, policies, guidelines of SIRA (State Insurance Regulation Authority) and iCARE including processes and framework
- Provide support and to the Recovery at Work Advisores and to the broader stakeholders
- Support in resolving customer enquiries and complaints from a variety of internal and external parties in a timely manner
