First Choice Care are a leading supplier of Nurses and Carers to major public and private Hospitals, Aged Care Groups, Home Care Providers, University's and many more throughout Queensland. Established in 2005, we are well positioned in the fast growing sector of Healthcare and Aged Care Recruitment.

We are currently seeking a motivated Recruitment Consultant to join our Rural and Remote team located at our Head Office in Capalaba. The primary focus of this role is to source and onboard suitably skilled and experienced nurses in a timely manner ensuring compliance is adhered to at all times.

Responsibilities will include

  • Proactively source candidates utilising various social media and online systems
  • Screen and interview new candidates for suitability
  • Complete thorough reference checks and collate all required documentation
  • Develop and maintain a quality candidate pool for upcoming opportunities
  • Speculate high calibre candidates to existing and prospect clients to create new business opportunities
  • Track and report on all contracts and candidates on a weekly basis
  • Visit client facilities in rural locations
  • Organise flights and accommodation for candidates
  • Prepare and finalise contracts for placements

About you

To be successful in this role you will have proven experience working in a fast paced, high volume position within a recruitment environment or similar sales and customer service setting. You will be professional, self-motivated and have a genuine desire to become part of our growing team.

You will possess the following:

  • A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, candidates and clients
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to multi task
  • Capability and willingness to learn new systems and processes

This is a full time position working Monday to Friday however the successful applicant must be willing to takes calls and assist candidates and clients out of business hours if required.
