The Role
As the IT Security Specialist or OT Security Analyst you will be responsible for the day to day security activities. You will work across Information and Cyber Security threat and vulnerability identification and mitigation. Deliver 3rd party risk management and compliance reporting and develop Information Security Standards, Procedures and related documentation.

IT Security Specialist roles

  • A generalist IT Security Analyst background
  • Experienced on security applications
  • Broad background in IT security
  • The role will be a mix of both BAU and project work
  • Focus on Risk Assessment
  • Setting up of tools after reviewing existing and implement new tools
  • Ensuring operating procedures are in place
  • Ensuring security risk capability is embedded in the business.
  • Knowledge of Essential 8, Government security policy experience is highly regarded.

OT Security Specialist roles

  • This role would work across the operational infrastructure and technology like Digital Radio, Network Scada, Signals and Digital notification systems
  • Also focused on Risk assessment
  • Require excellent stakeholder engagement experience with non IT staff
  • The role would be a mix of both BAU and project work
  • Setting up of tools
  • Ensuring operating procedures are in place
  • Ensuring security risk capability is embedded in the business.
  • Someone coming with strong tech skills in OT like Electrical, water, construction, utilities, Transport infrastructure industry
  • Prefer experience of 62443 suite of standards.

Your Experience

  • Previous experience as an experienced IT Security Specialist, Security Analyst or Security Consultant
  • Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g. NIST Cybersecurity framework)
  • Experienced with risk management methodologies
  • Proven experience triaging and responding to sophisticated security incidents
  • Experience with Industry Frameworks and Standards: ISO27001/2 and NIST
  • Demonstrate strong technical security knowledge (vulnerabilities, incident detection, Windows/Linux OS, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Architectural Frameworks and Methodologies
  • Professional qualifications desired - CISSP or other

This role will require you to be flexible with WFH and to work onsite in the Inner West as needed
