Due to an internal promotion a fantastic opportunity has opened up for a Third party Security Assurance Consultant to work closely with this overall organisation who are based in the Melbourne CBD.
This position reports directly to the Information Assurance Manager and is responsible for supporting the Technology & Security Assurance activities to ensure that third parties handeling & processing the companies information & interfacing into the organisations technology environment are not adding additional risks or providing a pathway for attackers to compromise their systems.
Some of the key responsibilities of this role are, however not limited to:
- Providing high quality assurance review delivery.
- Providing ongoing identification & implementation of improvements to the 3rd party assurance process & tooling to address operational challenges, reflect the changing threat environment, & best practice assurance approaches.
- Maintaining a strong working relationship with Business Owners, Vendors, Procurement, Legal & other Technology & Security Management & staff.
- Prepare scheduled ad-hoc reports.
To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, the successful candidate needs to have an in-dpth knowledge of all Domains within Security, in particular in relation to 3rd Parties. Also having a solid background in either: Information Security, Supplier Management, Risk Management or Business Continuity Management.
