Job Description
This emergency services organisation, is a 24/7, critical support service, that relies on smooth operation of all their Networks, including WAN, LAN, security, Unified Communications and overall Datacentres infrastructure.
The Role
The Network Administrator will be responsible for the administration of mission-critical infrastructure including modification and changes, upgrades, replacement and refreshment, aligning the support provided with the established technical procedures and process architectures required to operate and support business requirements
Role includes, but is not limited to:
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of network devices and unified communications
- Preventative and ongoing systems management and administration for all network devices
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and third party vendors
- Facilitate preventative and ongoing systems management and administration for all network devices
- Working with Windows based platform and associated MS365 tools
- Travel within Victoria required

Essential Selection Criteria
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Communications or Engineering, relevant industry certifications and/or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Network Administrator
- CCNA certification, CCNP preferable
- Knowledge of ITIL based change management methodologies required
- Demonstrable expertise in a range of areas including general network theory, including Cisco network equipment and software, Datacenter and applications, and business continuity experience
- Full Victorian drivers licence
