Our client is a Federal Government Department based in Canberra seeking the services of an experienced Software and Middleware Developer who has extensive experience working with C# in a .Net framework. You will be undertaking production support work for the operation of business software systems, along with assisting the migration of legacy applications written in languages such as Delphi, Centura and .Net into cotemporary Oracle Fusion Middleware.

In this role you will undertake the following:

  • Analysis, designing, coding and testing improvements to Export systems.
  • Developing and maintaining required system documentation.
  • Software development and change release activities.
  • Assisting with troubleshooting and problem resolution activities arising from operational incidents.

As an experienced Developer you will assist the migration with your existing knowledge of C# in the .Net framework. You possess the ability to work in a fast paced environment and can assist with troubleshooting and problem resolutions that arise from operational incidents. You have high quality written and verbal communication skills, complemented by your analytically way of thinking and problem solving skills to broaden discussion and focus targeted questions.

Ideally you are an Australian Citizen and have a Baseline Clearance.
