They need a strong Systems Administrator to provide support effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, support and maintenance of systems hardware, software and related infrastructure for the Oracle Fusion Middleware suite.
In this hands-on role you will support on-line system servers, applications, interfaces and drivers, performing daily administration and preventative maintenance to diagnose problems; undergo security monitoring and threat analysis; conduct file archival and purges as required; write documentation; perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades; maintain the quality system; participate in after hours on-call work; maintain incident management tools and mentor more junior staff members.
Technically, you are skilled in Oracle Fusion Middleware products. Previous experience in SQL and an understanding of Java and XML would be great; you also have knowledge of remote access protocols and network protocols.
Personally, you are inquisitive, down to earth, hardworking and self-motivated. You get a buzz from fixing problems and systems, and you have lots of initiative and a drive to succeed. Confident at liaising at all levels, you are a real contributor and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment. Australian Citizenship and an baseline clearance is required due to the nature of the project work.
